Orientation Programme and Distribution of Educational Materials
Madhya Pradesh Samaj Seva Sanstha (MPSSS) organized an Orientation Programme on the Importance of Education along with the distribution of educational materials for children at Awalikheda on 30 June 2026. The initiative aimed to encourage children to continue their education, develop positive learning habits, and begin the new academic year with the necessary educational resources. A total of 135 children from the local community participated in the programme.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Fr. Jonedius Toppo. Addressing the gathering, Fr. Shinto Abraham, Director, MPSSS, emphasized the transformative role of education in shaping a successful and meaningful future. He encouraged the children to study regularly and sincerely, develop good values and discipline, and remain focused on their aspirations and future goals.
An interactive orientation session led by Fr. Shinto Abraham focused on important aspects of discipline, regular study habits, moral values, social responsibility, goal setting, and future planning. Through interactive discussions, games, and energizers, the children actively participated in the session and gained a better understanding of how education can contribute to their personal growth and future opportunities.
As part of the programme, educational kits containing notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and other essential learning materials were distributed to all 135 participating children. The initiative will help meet their basic educational needs, support their regular studies, and contribute towards reducing the financial burden on their families.
Sr. Jolly George, Sr. Rupali, Dr. Aneesh Jose, teachers, and supporting staff were present during the programme and contributed to its successful implementation. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Sr. Jolly George, who expressed appreciation to the organizers, resource persons, staff, parents, and children for their valuable support and active participation.
The programme served not only as an educational support initiative but also as a platform to inspire children to value education, strengthen their confidence, develop responsible attitudes, and pursue their aspirations with determination. Through such initiatives, MPSSS continues its commitment to promoting inclusive educational opportunities and supporting children in building a brighter and more secure future.
